Award-winning writer and communications consultant Linda Mastaglio, founder and owner of TWI-PR, receives two awards for her writing from the 2011 MarCom Awards competition.

VAN, TX, December 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- TWI-PR founder and principle, Linda Mastaglio, celebrating her fifteenth year of providing clients with people-to-people communications consulting, has received two awards for her writing from the 2011 MarCom Awards competition.

"Lessons Revealed," the cover story that appeared in SMPS Marketer's February 2011 issue, won a Gold Award. In the article, marketers from across American perform their own reality checks and share the results. Throughout the article Mastaglio, an SMPS Marketer contributing editor, weaves their clever insights and unique perspectives on the challenges of marketing during a recession.

"The Capacity Crunch," a technical article appearing in the March 21, 2011 issue of Engineering News Record (ENR), received an Honorable Mention Award. The article discusses the effect of funding issues dampening transportation system growth. During the last fourteen years, Mastaglio has written about 100 special advertising sections for ENR, a weekly publication of McGraw-Hill. This is one of several awards Mastaglio received for her technical writing skills for ENR sections.

Linda Mastaglio, ABC has been writing professionally for over four decades and has won many national and international awards for communication excellence.
