Fort Worth Attorney Steve Laird Named as One of Top 100 Super Lawyers in Texas
Trucking accident and personal injury/wrongful death trial attorney Steven C. Laird of Fort Worth again has earned selection as one of Texas' Top 100 attorneys in the 2011 Texas Super Lawyers list.

FORT WORTH, TX, September 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Trucking accident and personal injury/wrongful death trial attorney Steven C. Laird of Fort Worth again has earned selection as one of Texas' Top 100 attorneys in the 2011 Texas Super Lawyers list.

This marks the seventh straight year the founder of The Law Offices of Steven C. Laird has been listed among the state's top 100 lawyers. He is the only personal injury attorney in Fort Worth to be named to the Top 100 list every year since 2005.

"Earning a place on the statewide Top 100 list for seven years in a row among a pool of more than 80,000 licensed Texas attorneys is truly a humbling experience," says Mr. Laird. Mr. Laird appears in the October issue of Texas Monthly magazine, which publishes the Texas Super Lawyers list each fall. Less than 5 percent of all lawyers in the state are included in the list.

Each candidate is evaluated by Texas Super Lawyers staff for both peer recognition and professional achievement, including an examination of successful verdicts and settlements, among other factors.

Earlier this year, Mr. Laird's tenacious pursuit of justice resulted in a $1 million court judgment for the family of a man who died in a 2008 automobile crash caused by a drunken driver who had been drinking at Southern Oaks Golf Club in Burleson, Texas.

Mr. Laird is Board Certified in both Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He also is certified as a Civil Trial Law Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. This triple board certification is rare among Texas lawyers and illustrates the education and experience found at the firm. Less than 1 percent of Texas lawyers are triple board certified.
