Former Wedding Consultant Creates Bridal Magazine for the Everyday Bride
Wedding consultant Brittany Brown finds her niche launching Everyday Bride Magazine. The guide for the modern bride, the magazine features real brides, and small businesses often overlooked by nationally distributed brands.

HOUSTON, TX, June 23, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Houston's bridal scene has a new face, the everyday bride. Local entrepreneur, Brittany Brown has officially launched Everyday Bride Magazine in Houston, TX. The magazine and corresponding website are positioned to be a valuable resource for brides, highlighting the many brands and boutique vendors available locally in each distributed market to enhance their special day.

Beyond Houston, Everyday Bride will also be distributed in Dallas, Atlanta, Birmingham, and New Orleans, as well as bridal expos across the country. Their website, www.EverydayBride.com, offers users an array of tools to assist in planning a wedding to remember, with portals specific to each city. "Real Brides" and the professionals who work in the wedding services industry are the stars of both the site and print magazine.

To celebrate the magazine's release, Everyday Bride worked with the local bridal services community to create a launch party at the renowned Las Velas Houston. Attendees enjoyed complimentary cake and desserts created by Tammy Allen Premiere Wedding Cakes and Chocolate Fountain Express. Liquor brand, VeeV Vodka created custom themed drinks for guests such as "The Blushing Bride." YOURs EVENTually, Cover Me Satin, and Weddings in Bloom provided the event ambiance. DJ Supastar Entertainment, and Xtreme Level Dance Co, who opened the event with a flash mob to "Single Ladies," provided entertainment. Each guests also left with a posh swag bag that included goodies from Dearfoams, Double Dutch Cosmetics, NaturalBodyButter.com, SPAthena/MinxHouston, HELPS Teas, and VMV Hypoallergenic.

Brown credits working as a wedding consultant as the inspiration to begin the magazine. While operating her business she discovered that advertising with bridal magazines (even locally) was often too expensive for most small businesses, and very few featured real brides and issues relevant to them. In response to this Brittany sought (and received) a grant from 100 Urban Entrepreneurs and began on her journey to making classy periodical that all brides could relate you, and small companies/brands were given an opportunity to shine. "I created this magazine with real brides in mind. My goal is for it to be an outlet to be a reliable resource and guide for all their wedding planning needs," she explains.

Everyday Bride will be available in all markets beginning September 2011.
