Fort Worth Non-Profit Holding 2010 "Diamonds and Denim" Casino Night on August 7
LifeScapes in Kennedale raising money to help at-risk teens.


KENNEDALE, TX, July 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Put on your fanciest duds, have a great night of Vegas-style excitement, and help out a good cause at the same time. On Saturday, August 7, starting at 6:30 pm, LifeScapes is holding its annual Casino Night Fundraiser.

The "Denim and Diamonds" Casino Night will let you try your luck at roulette, blackjack, Texas Hold 'Em poker, craps, and slot machines. There will also be a silent and live auction, raffles, food and drinks.

LifeScapes is a Fort Worth area charity dedicated to giving at-risk teens the tools they need to succeed in life. The money raised at Casino Night will help fund Lifescapes' programs, such as after-school tutoring, life skills training and mentor seminars.

Tickets for the charity event are only $30 in advance, and $40 at the door. Ticket price includes admission, $1,000 in chips, hors d'oeuvres and drinks.

LifeScapes is also currently seeking sponsorships and donations for its Casino Night. Sponsors of a roulette, poker or craps table get company signage on the table, plus free tickets, and a listing in the program. Merchandise donations for the auctions and raffles are also welcome. All donations are tax-deductible.

The event will be held at LifeScapes at 7204 W. Mansfield Hwy in Kennedale. The property is owned by Ron Sturgeon of RDS Real Estate.

"LifeScapes is doing great work for the kids of Fort Worth," said DFW commercial property owner and business growth consultant Ron Sturgeon. "And the Denim and Diamonds Casino Night is a wonderful way to help out these kids and have some grown-up fun at the same time."
