"Mambo the Vote!" is Mercury Mambo's way of encouraging everyone to stand up and be counted by voting in this year's presidential election. The campaign is being run on their blog, "Cup o' Mambo," and includes an opportunity to win very cool prizes, such as an Epiphone Les Paul Guitar, a Dell DJ MP3 player, or a roundtrip ticket on Southwest Airlines.

This Mambo-style voting rally began on a flight from NYC to Austin in which Mercury Mambo Partner Liz Arreaga made a bet with another passenger on the flight to see who could persuade more people to get out there and cast their ballot.

"We live in a country that allows its citizens to choose their leaders," commented Arreaga. "Why not encourage people to take advantage of this right with a little bit of fun and healthy competition. Not to mention that I hate to lose a bet."
