Tropical Flurry Hires New CEO
OWNER OF TROPICAL BEVERAGE, THE TOP FRANCHISEE IN THE TROPICAL FLURRY NETWORK, AGREES TO BECOME NEW CEO OF THE PARENT COMPANY.


    /Texas News Articles/ - DALLAS, TX, August 24, 2008 - Tropical Flurry, a leading food and beverage franchisor and the provider of high quality, fruit juice blends and milkshakes to schools and other venues is pleased to announce it has hired JL Lamb, the owner and operator of Tropical Beverage - the companies single largest franchise, as CEO.

Tropical Beverage is the most prosperous franchise in the Tropical Flurry system, from both a size and dollar perspective. Covering the North Texas region and servicing primarily schools, Mr. Lamb has successfully used the Tropical Flurry system and products to create a thriving business. Starting out as a regular franchisee with 10 locations and the self-directed program, he was able to grow to more than 100 locations and prove that with a little knowledge, good programs, company support and diligence the Tropical Flurry franchise is a great investment.

Mr. Lamb, a retired marketing executive, took on this new challenge to help other potential franchisees realize the success he has garnered through his association with Tropical Flurry. He further has shown the business acumen and leadership skills that Tropical Flurry's ownership wants in the CEO position. Tropical Beverage will continue on with Mr. Lamb's son, Gavin, at the helm of it's operations.
